The Guild of Master Plumbers do not provide training courses, however it does recommend the following steps to becoming a fully qualified plumber

 1. Complete your City & Guilds 6129 Level 2

2. Try and gain employment

3. Complete your City & Guilds NVQ Level 2

4. Complete Add-on courses such as the WRAS and Part P Courses

5. If you're looking to go into GAS, take your Gas Foundation / ACS Gas qualifications

Remember that training to Gas stage takes many hours in the classroom, but also on site working with time served professionals. Any company/training facility promising gas certification in less than one year to someone new in the industry is putting not only your own safety, but the safety of others at risk.  Before paying for any training course ask for the college's registration/centre numbers and check them out with an awarding body.
